A player in Greenbelt quadrupled his or her Lottery fun, winning a third-tier prize of $40,000 on Mega Millions last night, according to Lottery officials, on a ticket sold at the Greenbelt Shell.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Nov. 19 drawing were: 05-35-50-51-59 with a gold Mega Ball of 08 and the Megaplier of X4.
According to Lottery officials, the Megaplier helped turn a $10,000 win into the $40,000 windfall for the winner.
There were no jackpot winners - two did claim seven-figure prizes - that will now roll to $453 million with a $209.6 cash option for the drawing at 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
In total, there were 21,068 winners in Maryland between $2 and $500.
Mega Millions drawings are held at 11 p.m. on every Tuesday and Friday night.
